As a Chinese (though borned in Malaysia), I could not emphasize more the importance of finding a good partner in China (also in other Asian countries). Trust and relationship are built over time through different levels of interactions, and these require persistency and patience. Having deep understanding of each other's culture (both national and organization level) and having a clear, common objective are equally important. In my opinion, Finnode can add great values to this aspect, e.g. by establishing a cross-nation industry workgroup, finding good partners for Chinese counterparts in Finland, and more importantly, good, reliable, creditable, ern..

This will facilitate ongoing conversations and working relationships in a structured, open manner which will deepen the seed group's relationship over time. This may overcome some concerns on the western companies' fear for piracy issues and the fear in the Chinese companies minds that they are to be taken advantage of.

Mutual benefits on both side is extremely important and in my view, one of the key success factors for the relationship to work. Finns can add tremendous value to the Chinese counterparts businesses to help them understand global markets especially Scandic and Europen market better. In addition, this is an excellent port to enter the European market... all these are good stuff Finns can reciprocate to building a good, strong relationship whilst Finns can learn from the Chinese the local specific requirements in China market. It is balance, mutually beneficial and win-win solution for both sides.

We, the Chinese living in Finland (including KUAS Chinese degree and exchange students) are more than happy to facilitate the process inside Finland. We are most delighted to share our culture, experience and knowledge with the Finnish people and are able to assist in your research and exploration efforts.
